Yes. When the louvers are closed, the roof is designed to provide overhead protection and direct rainwater through an integrated drainage system. If water remains on top of the louvers after the rain, the drainage design continues to channel that water away as the roof opens, helping keep the patio area below dry instead of releasing water into the space.
